5 Nutrition & Exercise Tips to Improve Results

👉 Spinning your wheels with your current routine, or backtracking & can’t figure out why?
You’ve been prioritizing exercise and healthy eating, but nothing seems to be working. HELP!

Here are 5 things to consider with your exercise and nutrition:

1️⃣ Your Overall Movement: How much are you REALLY moving throughout the day? Your body will burn more calories with NEaT (non exercise activity) during the whole day vs exercise. Pay attention to how often you stand, move overall, walk and a challenging yet doable step goal each day.

2️⃣ Strength Training: are you doing enough weight to challenge your body and promote muscle growth? Are you lifting frequently enough & with enough volume? The body needs strength work to promote a healthy metabolism, muscle & joint strength, & more.

3️⃣ Cardio: Long steady state cardio might burn calories but it doesn’t do anything long term for your metabolism. Are you doing any intervals or HIIT? It is also keep to look at how MUCH cardio; too little won’t promote fat loss, but too much can be a stress on the body, limiting results.

4️⃣ Calorie intake: Chronic undereating (just like excessive exercise) is a stress on the body. This can raise inflammation, telling the body to hold onto weight as protective mechanism because it think it’s starving
Making sure you are eating enough, consistently throughout the day, will keep energy & focus optimal, stable blood sugar & support a thriving metabolism.

5️⃣ Macronutrient Balance: are you paying attention to the amount of carbs, fats & proteins you’re eating? Many women under consume protein, which is critical to keep on healthy muscle, stay full & ward off cravings, plus support energy & mood
